Linden/Penn Wortman PACT
The Linden/PW PACT project is a transformation of 1,922 units of Section 9 public housing to Section 8 housing choice vouchers. This conversion unlocks financing tools previously unavailable to perform $300M worth of repairs stemming from decades of disinvestment and deferred maintenance.
SMJ is part of quartet of developers that includes L&M Development Partners, Douglaston Development, and Dantes Partners. Together the team formally known as Stanley Avenue Preservation LLC in concert with NYCHA will modernize the interiors, exteriors, and systems of the 21 building campus in East New York Brooklyn. The work will be completed with tenants in place and yield more efficient property management and enhanced social services.
