Woodhaven ELLA

The Woodhaven ELLA Project will be a 7 story building located in the Rego Park neighborhood of Queens. The Project consists of 120 units set aside for formerly homeless veterans and households earning no more than 30% AMI, 50% AMI, 80% AMI, and 90% AMI. It is being developed using the NYC HPD and NYC HDC ELLA program. This program uses taxable bonds and subsidy to create mixed income housing.

SMJ purchased the site in Fall of 2023. The site will be remediated through the NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program. This will be SMJ’s first all-electric new construction project.
